Foxden Equine was founded in 1996 by Melyni Worth, PhD, PAS to produce equine nutrition and health products. The staff at Foxden Equine have over 100 combined years of horse management and competition experience. Each of us proudly and confidently uses Foxden Equine products for our animals, and believes they truly make a difference.
At Foxden Equine we are dedicated to research, development and marketing of high-quality supplements that benefit the health and well-being of horses. Because of our love of horses, and our belief in the benefits of Foxden Equine products, every employee is committed to customer service and consumer education to provide the best results possible for you and your horse.
Foxden Equine is an audited member of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) and certified to display the NASC Seal of Quality. This means that we take care to test our products to ensure quality and purity, and we hold ourselves to a higher set of standards.

Melyni Worth, PhD, PAS - President and Director of Research & Development
Originally from Great Britain, by way of Kenya, Dr. Worth has a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Biochemistry from Newcastle University, received a Masters in Equine Nutrition from University College of Wales (Aberystwyth) and a Ph.D. in Equine Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Virginia Tech.
Melyni founded Foxden Equine in 1996 and has written articles in publications including Dressage Today, Holistic Horse, and Virginia Horse Journal. Her book, The Horse Nutrition Handbook, is a staff favorite at the USPC Bookstore, and has been used in Equine nutrition courses across the country.
Melyni holds a British Horse Society Assistant Instructors certification (BHSAI), and an International Trainers License (II) from the European Union, and has trained horses and taught riders for 28 years. She has taught riding and horse management programs at college level as well as being a lifetime rider and competitor. She breeds Knabstrupper sport horses at her farm in Staunton, Virginia.
In addition to her responsibilities at Foxden Equine, Melyni works as a consultant and writer in equine nutrition and exercise physiology.

Meg Jones - Office Manager and Bookkeeper
Originally from Springfield, IL, Meg moved to Virginia at twelve and grew up riding pony hunters. She has a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, where she and Melyni first met and were roommates. Meg spent 12 years in the banking world before joining Foxden Equine full-time in 2000 as the office manager and bookkeeper.
She is an avid rider and competitor and has a homebred Warmblood gelding named Time to Shine, who she competes in the Hunters.

Jacob Arbaugh - Marketing & Quality Control Manager
Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley, Jacob is a native of Staunton, VA. Jacob attended Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia where he got his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Arts, focusing in Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations; with a minor in Equine Studies.
During his time at Bethany Jacob rode on the IHSA Hunt Seat team where he was co-captain his first two years, and then went on to become captain his junior and senior year.
